Unlimited plan and Iphone 4 Hotspot

I can't seem to get a clear answer on this but I was grandfathered in with an unlimited plan. What I wanted to know is if I use the mobile Hotspot feature will AT&T send me one of those messages saying that they are changing me over to a tethered plan??

I tried searching around the internet for an answer but I was only able to find information pertaining to people with the 2GB plan.

If you use the mobile Hotspot feature. By default you will be moved to valid plan that supports teathering which is either the DataPro 4GB for iPhone plan at $45 or $60 DataPro 4GB for iPhone Enterprise.

You will lose your unlimited data plan.

Now if you jailbreak / unlock the answer is maybe, depending on what tool you use and how lucky you feel.
