CDMA and it's most likely not nationwide.

Well they do have "nationwide" coverage - but it even says 300 cities. I imagine if you live in the middle of Mo or Kansas you'll not get service.

T-mobile has contract less plans.

you should go with Cricket if you wany something like that, horrible signal and everything. Cricket's cheapest plan is $35 for unlimited US long distance, text, and minutes
