unlock 3GS on 4.1?

There seems to be a lot more unlocking methods out now ... what is the best method to unlock 4.1 on the 4.1 baseband?

I don't usually follow unlocks, since I am legit iphone4, but my sister needs it.

There's only one way to unlock a 3GS on 4.1 and that method is kinda hairy.
