Hey everyone, just a quick question?

Is there a SIM unlock available that will work on a 4s running 5.0.1?

Thanks!

No confirmed reports from actual users, but there are claims that Gevey Ultra S, TP SIM, R-SIM and GPP SIM can all unlock the iPhone 4s running iOS 5 and iOS 5.0.1 running 1.0.11, 1.013 or 1.0.14 basebands.

You can find these on eBay and other websites.

just sell the 4s and buy a I4 with a unlockable baseband there almost the same phone any way. ;)

LMAO:D

Thanks for the update Applejuiced, did the guy simply dissapear ???

No, MN is still around but hasnt said anything about the unlock he was working on for weeks now.
He either stumbled into an obsticle or has something up his sleeve and keeping it hush for now.
Not sure though.

Something up his sleeve? was that he was supposedly running a JBn and Unlocked 4s on 5.0 two months ago, (remember)?

Remember when we thought he was simply waiting for the JB to come out, that was many many weeks ago, so what could he possible have up his sleeve at this time?

just email him and tell him you will finish it within a week.

Just let they guy work and maybe he can get it out.
If you don't like it stop being a cheapo and buy an unlocked one.

Don't jump up my tail for repeting was has already been posted on this site in NOV, DEC, JAN.

I'm not the one who said he's gotta 4s jb and unlocked on 5.0, someone else reported it.

I just wanna know what happened to him, it went from a "slam dunk" 2 months ago, to u guys jumping down my throat for daring to ask "what happened?"

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A405 Safari/7534.48.3)

Check out www.applenberry.com. There's a demo of the Gevey ultra s there. It's priced at $55.

I don't mind you asking, it's the way you present your question.

He does have his own 4S and iPad JB, he ran into the same problem pod2g did, using developer stuff you can't make public. What might be the case that they save that JB and ulock until 5.1 drops next week, who knows.

He doesn't have to do anything.

Patience is a virtue.

Now,this Turbo SIM Card can unlock iphone4s,R-SIM.It was designed to unlock iphone4s basebands on iOS 5.0 and iOS 5.0.1. Here is the thread i foud : http://www.digitopz.com/rsim-sim-interposerunlock-iphone-4s-p-1122.html , maybe it will help you.

Unconfirmed but promising

Yes, there are 2 that I know of shipping now. Rebel has a new SIM that unlocks iPhone 4S on 5.x, and Gevey has a new one too. Prices are a bit high right now (as expected) between $45 and $65 a pop. They'll drop soon enough so wait it out if you don't need it ASAP.

I want to do buy the GPP SIM.
Anybody use it???
