Hey,

I recently upgraded to the iPhone 5 (two/three months ago) and I am due to travel to the US (LA) soon and looking at the calling, text and data rates (£1pm to call ) I am not looking forward to taking my phone with me as I will most likely be using a lot of data and phoning a few people while I am out there. Is it possible to get EE to unlock my iPhone for me?

Also when I am in the US I am planning on going with T-Mobile USA however I have read that T-Mobile USA aren't very good for data as it is all on Edge as they are on a different spectrum, is this true? maybe I should go to a different provider as I would like 3G at least :)

Cheers :D

Have you thought of calling EE and asking them if its possible to unlock your iphone? No harm in calling them because at the end of the day, it will be tbem who will decide if its possible or not. Unless another member here is with EE and knows.
