Hi,

I've just registered here and hoping for some help!

I'm on a Macbook.

I've successfully jailbroken my 3GS on 4.3.3 OS with Pwnage tool.

I have the updated 05.16.02 baseband.

I've been trying to update to the ipad baseband with redsnow o allow me to unlock it.

However, redsnow keeps crashing on me despite trying to install just the baseband and not install cydia again. (as advised in dev team blog to avoid conflicts)

Any ideas?

Perhaps, just perhaps, you're not supposed to do this !

Make sure you point redsn0w to stock 4.3.3 and not your custom one.

Also, try a different version of Redsn0w?

Yes its the standard IPSW and not the custom one

I've tried earlier versions of redsn0W and it still happens

As soon as I press next it jumps ahead of itself and doesn't let me perform the DFU manouvere

Welcome.
Sometimes some drivers dont play good with redsnow and cause it to crash/error out.
Glad it worked out.
