iPhone Unlock iOS6 Maps - Turn by turn not working properly

I have jailbroken my iPhone 4 on iOS6 and installed the Unlock iOS6 Maps tweak to enable turn by turn navigation. It works fine, apart from no maps show up, I just get the grid without any map overlay. Navigation works fine (it knows where I am and shouts instructions), and I have a strong 3G signal so it shouldn't have a problem downloading them.

Anyone have this problem, or have any ideas?

The reason Apple did not allow all the iOS6 Maps features on iPhone4 is because of the speed required to render the maps.

An iPhone4 is gonna lag when running iOS6 maps.
That is what you are seeing, a delay in the maps being rendered to the screen.

I have the same problem. iPhone 4, iOS 6 jailbroken with Unlock iOS 6 Maps.

While in turn by turn navigation, it is unable to load new map data. It shows me going across a grey grid. If I go to overview it can load new map data and sometimes that can temporarily be used in navigation mode until the cache runs out.

Also, has anyone tested locking their phone while navigating? I am getting a black background on the lock screen and then Maps crashes. It is supposed to show the map in the lock screen background.

I fully believe this is not a hardware performance issue. The phone has no problem loading 3d maps and moving around quickly. It just does not load new map data.

Note to test turn by turn navigation you have to me moving. Drive around in your car.

Turn by turn run fine by me, maps 3d fine, but ttwo miutes to play iphone go to loops!!

Did anybody find a solution to this problem?
My iphone4 has the same issue with turn-by-turn. It can't show a map while I'm driving but just a grey grid...
