Hello, I have an iPhone 3G with Baseband 05.15.04. I've tried to unlock it by Installing iPad Baseband using Sn0wbreeze and Redsn0w but the baseband always remains 05.15.04. I've tried several times. But no luck. :(

try again, it might take 10 tries or more.

make sur you have a good tutorial from iclarified.com and all settings and host file are correct

I did the following:
I made a custom firmware (4.2.1) with iPad baseband using sn0wbreeze and restore the ipsw by holding the Shift button on iTunes.
After restoration, the iPhone baseband should be 6.15.00
But there is no change :(

No.
There is no custom firmware with the ipad baseband.
The custom ipsw leaves the baseband untouched.
You need to use redsnow to install the ipad baseband.
It doesnt install the way you're doing it.

Actually Snowbreeze does allow one the option to make custom firmware with the 6.15 ipad baseband (at least version 2.9.5 did). I have done it many times previously in the past to save time with jb/unlocking the 3GS.

Did you read the question ?
It is about flashing the iPad baseband, then downgrading the baseband for 3G/3GS.

Redsn0w is the tool to do that.

I'm just correcting your (and Applejuice's) misinformation and my reply is entirely relevant. In addition to Redsn0w, Sn0wbreeze can also be used to install ipad baseband through custom firmware, so in theory the OP should have been successful in his attempt using Sn0wbreeze. Redsn0w can then be used to downgrade.

It is not necessary to restore before doing the baseband downgrade.
We we coaching him on doing a baseband downgrade not a restore.
Since our advice does not meet your criteria, I will leave it to you to assist the thread starter.

My point is there are multiple ways to install ipad baseband prior to the baseband downgrade and Snowbreeze is one way. He already said he tried RedSnow and it didn't work for him either. You and Applejuice said Snowbreeze couldn't be used and I was just pointing out that that isn't the case.
Either way, if he's tried multiple times with both tools and didn't succeed, there isn't much more to suggest.
