unlock iPhone 4 baseband 3.10.01 with ipad baseband then revert back to iPhone baseba

so, i heard that i could unlock the iPhone 4 baseband 3.10.01 downgrading to the iPad's baseband.

i may actually do that if i could revert to baseband 3.10.01 later when an unlock to the baseband 3.10.01 is available out there.

is this possible?

The iPhone 4 cannot use the iPad's baseband. Only the 3G and 3Gs.

Even if you could use the ipad bb on the iphone 4 (which you can't as Intell pointed out), the ipad bb is an upgrade from 3.10.01. You can never downgrade a bb.

What the heck is up with all the unlocking basebands that can't be unlocked questions today????

We need a frickin' sticky at the top of this forum that says if you have 05.14.02, 05.15.04 (and don't want to use ipad baseband) or 02.10.04 or 03.10.01 modem firmware then stop asking if you can unlock because you can't.
