I have a couple questions about unlocking the iPhone 5 (6.1.4):

Will an IMEI unlock free my phone for use with any Switzerland carrier?
What is the best service to do this, assuming I cannot do it myself.
Does this process void my warranty or is it illegal in any way?

Thank you.

Sorry for the delay. No, it is not for free, it can be unlocked though.
It will not void the warranty.

Which service to use? Thaks

I cannot really put here a link as it would be against the rules. But if you follow my page, you will find a service to unlock Sunrise phones. Even those still in contract are supported. The service has been alive for over a year now.

Best wishes,

Yes, iPhone 5 on any Swiss network can be IMEI unlocked permanently and remotely, networks include Orange, Swisscom, Sunrise.

The process does not void your warranty and isn't illegal in Switzerland as far as I know.
