Unlock, jailbreak release after 4.1?

4.1 is only on beta1. Probably not that close to final release unless Apple fast tracks it.

Not really, you are the one who is being sensitive (knitpicking) on 2 differnt threads in 2 minutes time.
4.1 should still be at the very least 3-4 more weeks out, probably more. The new spirit should be much sooner then that.
There already is a JB out for 4.0. I'm assuming you mean for the iPhone 4.0, which not everyone has.

That's a partial solution only... for 3G or some 3GS devices, given certain conditions.
The new tools will be all devices, all firmware.
