I have T-mobile (I live in NY) and didn;'t realize this was a Telus iphone before bidding. Is it possible to unlock it........?

Without firmware version and baseband information, we can give you information about what can or can not do with your phone.

On your phone, go to Setting, General, About and look at Firmware version and Modem firmware and tell us what you have.

I'd be more sketched by the auction itself than whether or not you can unlock it. It says it's a Telus phone in the auction, yet the carrier name on the pictures of the phone is AT&T? Weird. Unless of course it's already unlocked in which case you may be in luck and the baseband has possibly been preserved

No way to unlock if it's on 5.0
I'd contact the seller and tell him to relist it or sell it as a 2nd chance offer to another bidder.
It will be useless with no unlock. You could just use it as an iPod touch.
