Unlock only on IPhone 4G

Is there a way to just unlock the IPhone?
I dont want to jailbreak the phone...can any one please suggest?

After jailbreak - Unlock, is it possible to remove cydia or disable and just use it as normal unlocked phone?

The only reason why I dont want/disable jailbreak is that it degrades the phone performance.
Since this my 1st IPhone 4, I dont wana take any chances.

It doesn't degrade the performance unless you install things that degrade it. And the iPhone 4 has plenty of ram and processing power to be able to have many jailbroken apps going without a loss in performance.

If you don't want to worry about any of that, just hide Cydia in a folder.

Like said above u must be jb to unlock.
The i4 has alot of ram and plenty of resources to handle it without a hicup.
Just install the unlock from cydia and nothing else and u will be ok.

just as an fyi its not the iphone 4g. it still only uses a 3g chip...

I just jailbreaked my new ipod touch-8gb (IOS4), didnt even install any app from cydia. damm my ipod was slow. After restoring it worked smooth.
