Unlock unopened iPhone 5s?

Are you able to unlock an unopened iPhone 5s using a service like fushion unlock or something similar. Also, if so will you just be able to pop any micro sim in at unboxing or do you need to plug it into iTunes first in order for the unlock to take affect?

yes you can, once the phone is turned on you can just reset the network settings and all will be fine
