Call me noob, but I'm in situation where I want to unlock not just jailbreak a 3g. In the sticky above it says you can't unlock the 3g yet, but is that with the newer firmware only? So what I want to know is it possible to put an older firmware on the 3g and then will I be able to unlock/jailbreak? The sticky is the tutorial states this:

Windows Users: Download WinPwn and use it to unlock/jailbreak original iPhone up to firmware 2.0.1.

Download and use QuickPwn to jailbreak/unlock original iPhone up to 2.0.2 (unlock remains from 2.0.1)

I'm confused since it doesn't say that about the MAC Users which I have..

So give it to noob. Thanks!

There is No unlock for the 3G, unless you go through the legal means and buy an unlocked iPhone from countries where they are required to offer one.

Find a different Mac Jailbreak App.
