Unlocked 3gs phone can receive texts but can't call or text out.

Hey guys!

I have a 3gs iphone. I'm running 4.3.2, BB 05.13.04. I used Ultrasn0w 1.2.3 to unlock it. I get multiple bars and connect to service with ATT or T-mobile. I can receive texts, but cannot send them and any call I try to make gives me "Call Failed". I've tried reinstalling ultrasn0w (with reboot), I've disabled 3g, set time and date manually, reset network settings, etc. but nothing has allowed me to make a call. I'm currently using a Vodafone sim. I've received texts from Vodafone and can request my account balance, so I know it is partially working.

Sounds as though you are in the UK. If you plug in ATT and Tmobile pay and go sims in the UK you will get signal but no calls because they do not allow international roaming on pay and go. As far as the Vodaphone sim is concerned it should work unless there is no credit on the SIM. I have exactly the same phone and same configuration and use it will Tmobile in the US and O2 in the UK with no problem.
