Just had my wife's IP5 S unlocked, mainly for overseas travel with a local sim that I would buy in country. Generally speaking, does anyone know if the built-in tether feature works with a foreign sim card? That would seem to be a huge advantage if they did.

It should work it you choose a carrier that allows tethering.
