Unlocked but Can't Call out!

I've run thru the whole unlock process as per modmyiphone.com

I can see my carrier's name on top, but I can't make calls for some reason!

Could it be because I had an error uploading lockdownd? when i did it via cyberduck, there was no prompt to "overwrite" - could this be the reason?

When I try reuploading to libexec folder now, it says it cannot upload

any help appreciated! ... help!!
