If you plan to wait in line at your local Apple store to purchase a unlocked iPhone 5 in Canada, don't bother, I just found out and confirmed it with our 2 local Apple stores here in Canada, that only way to get Unlocked IPhone 5 is to purchase it at Apple's online store.
Anyhow i called Apple to give my feedback regarding this late news to its clients, also wrote to them in the feedback section. I have no problem that you can't buy it at the store, just frustrated with Apple dropping the ball by not informing its clients base.
