Hello, I purchased an iPhone 4 recently in Hong Kong. The phone is factory unlocked but every time I restore the phone I never receive the "Congratulations your iPhone is unlocked message". I have updated the phone to the latest official firmware and have confirmed that the phone accepts and works with any SIM card inserted from various carriers. Is there any reason the confirmation message in iTunes does not appear yet seems to be unlocked?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8H7 Safari/6533.18.5)

Maybe they don't do that anymore. As long as it works with any SIM I wouldn't worry about it.

The factory unlocked iPhone's don't come up with that message. The message only comes up when you have just had the phone unlocked by a Carrier.
