Someone knows if I buy an unlocked iphone from the US apple web site, will be able to use it in Europe? I would like to travel and visit France and Italy. Thanks

My idea was to use a local carrier when traveling, whitout go through jailbreaking with an AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon iphone. Do you have a better idea?

just remember it's unlocked GSM not CDMA. Examples in the US you would be free to use it on AT&T or T-Mobile but not on Verizon or Sprint. That's there rules not apples.

Call up Sprint and check to see if your GSM side is internationally unlocked. I believe it should be.
