Unlocked iphone 4s

Hi I just unlocked my verizon iphone 4s w/ the gevey ultra s everything seems to work except I can't receive text on this phone they end up going to my old phone which currently has no sim card also I can send text but I can't send pictures any ideas what maybe wrong here?

If you are using an un-official network, it is difficult to get your cell number activated for iMessage and FaceTime on those unofficial networks.

If is is SMS messages, make sure and enter APN settings for your network.

thanks for your reply but what do you mean by unofficial network? its cdma iphone and i was running it on at&t hspa?

Yes, that's an unofficial network since the phone is CDMA and unlocked with Gevey for AT&T.
In order not to receive imessages on your old iphone you will have to log out of your imessage account in settings or restore it.
You dont get texts on the old phone with no sim, you're getting imessages with the blue bubbles correct?

yes i managed recieve text now i just can't send pictures in my texts?

You might need to install the correct mms apn settings or a carrier config file.
