well that sucks! I was hoping to get it right away. I havn't had an iPhone since the 3GS and my SIII gets laggy and i always have to use the app killer (the GSIII is no where near as good as everyone claims) .

Wow that sucks, looks like a lot of t-mobile customers will be waiting.

Maybe this will give china time to come out with a nano sim cutter.

I have cut mine with scissors for the thickness just use fine sandpaper and i am using a micro sim adaptor for my galaxy.

The problem with the SIII isnt the hardware its the OS. Android has always been horrible with managing ram. If iOS is running low on RAM it will shut apps down, it seems like if Android is low on RAM it doesnt shut them down and the phone starts to slow down. (This is in ICS, I have no idea if JB fixed the issue) but the 3GS was the best phone that i have had so i am looking forward to the iPhone 5.

u use android so u must know how to use custom ROMs and KERNELs, STOCK's always suck, it's not like iOS =)

But we can still buy it tomorrow under AT&T (or whoever) at full price right? It will be locked to AT&T but we can simply fill out the unlock form and they will unlock it for us since there are no contract obligations.

I am buying it to go on T-Mobile. Only costs me $95 for 3 lines with unlimited texting and data.

I know, I've thought about the same thing. I'm saying, if you're eligible for the upgrade/new line price ($199), that + $325 ETF < full price ($649).

Then yes it would be better to get it subsidized

The subsidized phone will be locked to the carrier.

But when you pay it off or finish your contract you can have them unlock it
