Hi
[sorry for my english, I'm polish]
My Brother is studying in USA, now and he can buy IPhone for me. I really want 4S+ model. But how's with simlock (in Poland it is illegal as far as I know), beacouse IPhones in USA are muuuuch cheaper than Iphones in Poland. On ebay I saw a lot of deals which had Iphone 5s from verizon, sprint or at&t etc. And here is my question: Will The Iphone 5S (which has in description words like unlocked, global or worldwide) in Poland with polish SIM card (I'm in Polish Virgin Mobile)?

I am no expert on Poland, but mind you that while your iPhone would be more expensive, the contract you'd get could be much cheaper, or pre-paid plan if you don't want to take a fixed-duration contract.

Got a provider here I happen to know:

19 zloti would be 6-7 dollars.

Much cheaper than US prices.

Zeerman, it's not about provider in Poland, in Virgin I have very good prices (prepaid), and I really don't like contracts. I just want to know if IPhone 5S from USA will work in Poland with polish Sim card, which is always same (no matter if contract or prepaid).
