Just curious if anyone else has seen this.
I bought my iPhone 6s Plus on launch day (model A1633 128gb Silver AT&T) and I noticed after I unboxed it that the glass wasn't seated uniformly around the face. It had a gap at the top and the left side was raised slightly. I contacted Apple Support and they sent me an express replacement device which I got earlier this week. When I powered up the new device and was going through the setup process it asked me what carrier I wanted to use but on my original that was being replaced it never asked this. It gave me a long list of carriers to chose from on the new device (domestic and international). I ended up resetting it after my iCloud backup finished because something went wrong during the restore process so I decided to set it up as new. I still got the carrier selection screen on the 2nd go around also. Has anyone else seen this on carrier locked iPhones? Is it possible they sent me an unlocked device as a replacement? I don't know anyone with T-Mobile to try their sim card to verify and everyone else I know either uses AT&T or Verizon.
