Unlocked iPhone 6s

Hello, I'm planning on buying an unlocked iPhone 6s and saw that they are not available for purchase in the apple store and website.

From my check online it looks like the unlocked version is only released 2-3 moths after the release date.

I talked to Apple and they said that there is anan option to buy an unlocked version through T mobile. Is this true and how exactly does it work?

And is there an estimated date for the official apple Unlocked 6s release date?

Picked up an ATT 6S at the Apple store at full price. Device is unlocked

I also paid full price, and it was sealed, but inside is pre-installed with an ATT sim card already, so by paying full price and having an att sim already inside makes it Unlocked?
