Good day,

I just had a question concerning unlocking. Obviously if an iPhone 4S is purchased through Apple it is unlocked and can be used on T-Mobile and/or AT&T in the USA.

Now if I get an AT&T purchased iPhone 4S that was unlocked through iTunes is there any difference? Would it be able to be used on T-Mobile?

Thanks

No differences! Once its factory unlocked it will stay that way even if you swap it for warranty.

The unlock status will carry over to the one you will get as a replacement.

No difference ,It's your property IT'S UNLOCKED for usage now....

only difference would be price att unlock phones should be slightly cheaper. lots of big cities have this in their downtown electronic store markets. Iphone categorized as factory unlock, will have MD as the part number to start with if you see MC and they claim factory unlock its an att unlock, also just as good.
