I have a friend whom I wish to sell my at&t iPhone 4 to. I recently upgraded to the iPhone 5. My friend lives in South America and wants to use it there and eventually sell it. Is it illegal for me to unlock my old iPhone 4 and sell it to him so he can do whatever he pleases with it in S. America?
