Unlocked iPhone X

I want to buy an iPhone X that should be working both on AT&T and Verizon (Model A1865). I searched the forum but couldn't find an answer to my questions.

First question, If I order a Verizon one from Apple's website, will it work with AT&T?

Second question is, I am using AT&T prepaid. Can I order Verizon version of iPhone X without being a customer of Verizon.

As far as I know 1. Yes it will work with att 2. No you will need a Verizon account to purchase it.

I believe TinaNYCTower is correct. Verizon iPhone works with AT&T, but you can't buy it without being a Verizon customer.
