i'll be getting an unlocked iphone next week. i live in canada.

i just wanted to know, when i get it. i don't update the phone right, if i do it might be locked ???? is that right>>>??


so i just sync my content (music, videos, podcasts), but never update the acutal software or firmware on the iphone???

no no...here's the dealio... update your firmware ONLY WHEN CONFIRMED THAT any updates don't Lock your phone. I'm pretty sure future updates will be worth while so just hang on until people post if the cost is clear to update.. Simple...
