My dad owned an unlocked iPhone which he bought from the uk. He is coming to the states in couple if days he is planning to stay for 2 weeks.
The question is, which carrier in the US will offer a pre paid or a free contract for an iPhone 5.

You can try T-Mobile or Straight Talk. You'll just have to trim the microsim to nanosim.
