Unlocked/jailbroken 3gs problems!!!!!

Now for the problem -

I was just playing chess on my iPhone and then it randomly blacks out and reboots.. When it finished rebooting, I just had signal strength bars and no carrier. Which I thought was weird. Then about every two minutes it would reboot. This was enough time to clear out all my cydia apps, reinstall ultrasn0w, and reinstall all app store apps. It seemed to work alright cause after another reboot things got back to normal (I didn't reinstall any cydia apps besides ultrasn0w).

Is there a way to restore my iPhone 3gs with baseband 6.15 and iOS 5.0.1? I know I can't use iTunes but is there some program I can use to restore my phone if this ever happens again?

Use Redsn0w0.9.10b3/4 to create a custom IPSW. When restoring in iTunes, hold shift/Option and click restore and choose that custom IPSW you just built.
Then rerun jailbreak on phone after it has been restored.
