unlocked sprint iphones 4s

hey guys,

I have an unlocked sprint iphone 4s, which I restored and when I put in my roger's sim card it says not a valid sim card. Am I screwed, since I heard if you restore a sprint iphone 4s you have to activate it on sprint, then you can use it international again.

That's not the way it's supposed to work, once unlocked it's supposed to stay that way.

Mine's never changed after a restore, but I bought it unlocked for international use, it wasn't unlocked later.
