Hi,

I found that usually the unlocked version are sold between 2 and 4 months later (for the iphone 6). As I have to travel to USA in October or November, I would love to get more information. Does someone has any idea about a date ? I'm sure that no timing will be announced the 9th but I have to book my flights soon :-/

Thanks for your help!

You know about as much as anyone at this point. You are aware of Apple's historic pattern, but there's always the small chance they will release the sim free version earlier or will move toward a universal model. It's best to wait for the announcement next week.

For the international unlocked it typically takes 4 months. Last year it released in January of this year. For US unlocked it's T-mobile from Apple Website direct.

Apple doesn't even usually announce it ahead of time. It just shows up in the store a few months later.

But past performance doesn't guarantee future actions, so wait and see what's revealed next week.
