I know ill have to pay 45 euro a month but its worth it. I was wondering, wat will I lose by unlocking it. Also, if I unlock it can I get the new firmware update?

P philgilder macrumors 68000 Sep 30, 2007 1,756 3 UK Sep 9, 2008 #2 you can't unlock the iphone 3g you will need to buy a turbosim type hack, and theres no guarantee these will always work also, why not buy it then cancel the contract and pay an early termination fee, or whatever your country uses as each is different
