I was always wondering, why is it so complicated when it comes to unlocking an iphone but when it comes o another headset there's only a subsidy code and your unlocked. When it comes to the iphone, its like your forcing it to believe that its unlocked. Can someone explain why its like that.

Because, I believe that the carriers wanting exclusivity didn't want unlocking to be easy. Once the exclusivity agreements laps it may be easy. It is also because iTunes does the activation, not the provider, that is another limiting factor.

I was always wondering, why is it so complicated

because the iphone is the most complex phone on the market.

it also has a 5 year exclusivity contract with at&t. it isnt supposed to be unlocked or jailbroken, and apple took aggressive measures to make sure it doesnt.

i know that but like lets just say a black jack, or some other phone thats tied with att also and nobody else then why are they still unlocked so easily and apple has to be so stubborn
