I've tried searching around and it seems tough to find the answer. I bought my phone from Apple device only (AT&T version). I want to use it with AIO Wireless, but how do I go about unlocking it?

plug it into iTunes and restore it. It will be restored and then unlocked.

Just a warning with AIO, they throttle your max LTE speeds to 8Mbps. Not exactly a blowing deal.

First of all, you don't have to since AIO is ATT, so it would work fine even on a locked phone.

Second, your phone is unlocked since you bought it "Device Only". If you want to prove it to yourself, stick in a SIM from T-mobile and verify that it connects. You don't need to do anything special.

Once your phone is activated, put your IMEI into iphoneimei.info and you should see it show as unlocked. If you try to check before activating your phone it may still show as locked.
