Unlocking AT&T iPhone 5s after upgrading?

I'm upgrading a 5s still on contract on the 19th to a iPhone 6, and selling the 5s to Gazelle (path of least resistance). Because I'll pay the ETF, I'm assuming that it's eligible to be unlocked through the normal AT&T process, but wanted to see if anyone has actually done something like that.

Comments from anyone who has done this would be greatly appreciated.

Thats correct, paying the ETF completes your service requirements, and you can unlock it using their online tool.. Rules are listed here:
