Unlocking Iphone 4 4.11.08 on 5.0.1

Hi everyone,
Just a question.. I will be working in Europe for a month and was wondering if my iphone 4 can be unlocked to work with the sim cards there (voice and data). I am a noob... but i searched on iclarified and looked at the SAM tutorial... but it says that apple will be blocking it. Does it still work? Or has the exploit been blocked. Thanks so much!

SAM does not works anymore, Apple blocked the exploit. I bought my locked iphone 4 the same day when Apple blocked SAM *bad luck*
