Unlocking iphone 4

Guys, I'm completely new for iphone. Going to buy a new iphone 4 with ios 4 tomorrow.

I just want to know if I unlock ios4 now & than I can update my iphone to ios 4.1, I don't stick with just 4 as 4.1 has some updates such as bluetooth, sensos issues.

If so than how, or if I can't update after unlock then how can I unlock my phone after update to ios 4.1?

There is no jailbreak or unlock for an iPhone 4 on 4.1 firmware.

If you're buying a new iphone 4, then it'll likely have iOS 4.1--unless you have a source that has guaranteed you iOS 4.0.
The only thing you'll be able to do is save your SHSH blobs on Tiny Umbrella (google this for more info) for iOS 4.1. You want to do this.
