hi, i have an att iphone 5s 32gb, if i have it unlocked, how much can i sell it for?
also, will att or apple buy it from me unlocked?
thanks in advance.

$335 ( poor ) to $555 or $680 ( excellent)

the higher you list it for the slower it will take to sell

try swappa.com
they only charge $10 for each listing plus $5 for a featured listing.

if you sell that iPhone on eBay your looking at $75 in seller fees.

AT&T would be very interested in letting you trade in your phone if you buy a new one, but expect only about $165

you did a really swell job unlocking it, it will sell fast and for more then locked phones

this is what swappa says for an unlocked 32gb iPhone 5s
Last Sold Price $467
Recent Price Average $406
Lowest Current Price $335

It's not unlocked yet, I was just wondering. Thanks for your reply!

hey thanks for the advice on swappa. just created and account and i'm going to sell my own iPhone 5S there. I recently sold an iPad 4 on eBay and paid over $60 in final value fees, plus whatever paypal collected in receiving the money. Freaking ridiculous.

speaking of unlocks , iOS 8 has a new unlocking process!!! i found about it here just a month or so ago!

once you get the unlock from AT&T , all you need to do with iOS 8 is to insert a different carriers sim ( it doesn't need to be activated , meaning have service ) and the iPhone will automatically unlock itself

Power down the phone. Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and move your finger across.
Use the SIM card tool (or a straightened paper clip) to eject the SIM card holder from the side of the phone.
Remove the old SIM card from the SIM card holder. ...
Reinsert the SIM card holder into the iPhone.
power on

----

if you can't get your hands on a sim card from a different carrier, then you have to do it the old way, and back up the iPhone to itunes, erase the iPhone , and restore it from your backup
