I am talking to a guy that says he can jailbreak my 3GS on iOS 4. I figured it's worth a try at $10 and if it doesn't work I don't have to pay. Even though he said he knows he can do. For another $10 he can unlock it, but if he jailbrakes it can't I just use the UltraSn0w repo code that was announced today and save my self some money?

He can only do it if your 3GS is currently jb and with a nontethered jb.
There's nothing more that he can do that u can't with the dev teams tools.
Don't waste your money. A jb for 4.0 willbe out within days and u can use the latest ultrasnow hack to unlock the 4.0 baseband.
