I find it a little annoying that I have to occasionally unlock my SIM because it locked itself for some reason I have yet to figure out why it does this. This is not the issue though.

Is there an easy way to unlock the SIM without haing to turn off and then turn back on my iPhone to get to the "unlock SIM" prompt? If I go into settings, I can do it there but then I have to turn off my SIM (enter code) and then turn it back on (enter code again) to unlock it. I used to be able to just call someone while the SIM was locked which brought up the "Unlock SIM" prompt but this feature no longer works on my iPhone as I am no longer prompted for the code when I try to make a call while the SIM is locked. I'm assuming that one of the firmware updates removed this functionality.

Is there an easy way that I don't know about such as a simple "unlock sim" button where I can just click on it, enter the code and the SIM is unlocked without having to go through the above steps?
