Unlocking sprint iPhone 4s... Is it possible?

Good morning all' I was wondering if I can unlock my iPhone 4s 16gb sprint to work on AT&T. Is that possible because there is a sim tray' or not because it is on a CDMA network already ?

Ps' why would apple make a hybrid CDMA/GSM device but you only could use it on either or ?
