Hi guys. I have been doing some research about unlocking and purchasing a sim card for use in Antigua. I just hope there is someone with some experience in this area that can help. From what it seems I have to call Verizon to have them unlock the phone. Once that is done is it as simple as just getting another sim card and putting it in the phone? I have found some places rat sell prepaid sim cards for $25-40. They don't seem to include data and charge close to $1 per minute for phone calls and say I can receive unlimited incoming calls and texts. I will be there for 10 days so I would like have a plan with unlimited data/minutes but I do not know if this is even an option. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, it's that simple. You'll have to look into what local SIM cards are available while you're there, but honestly you might as well just use WiFi.
