I've had it since yesterday and I can tell you it has little effect on battery life and in my opinion is definitely worth the money. (Unlocking the phone is actually faster than the stock Apple slider 
)
I have a problem with the home screen not showing up behind the unlock animation though. After re-spring, the home screen was a bright green when unlocking, and now it just transitions through pure black instead of through the home screen behind it.
Anyone else having this issue?

No green, but otherwise the same issue. The animations just don't look good when there's blackness behind them. I'm guessing something is interfering. I use LockInfo. Do you guys use that or anything similar? (I.e. IntelliscreenX)

Why not post the fix here so others down the line in the next few weeks can get it fixed without starting another new thread?

If you have the Springtomize, disable the TV animation. This solved my Unlockize problem.
I should note that I had the same problem with Unfold and iUnlock, and this change did not solve that problem for those two tweaks.

Yeah I don't get it either.
Figured it would have been something like that but I was thinking it would've have been always show wallpaper while charging...
I didn't think it would be the TV Animation either. I actually assumed it had to do something directly on the lock screen, too. Whether it was ISX, LockInfo, custom sliders, etc. But yeah, hope that worked for ya.
