You have an Apple store nearby? They will do it, assuming there is ever stock to do with in a timely manner.

If the box is close with the plastic still on they dont charge. Just go to your local corp store.

For the iphone, ATT will NOT charge the restock fee if still sealed.

Still, charging something for taking care of people that can hold to their agreements and cause extra work seems just fine.
