You would need to sell your Japanese 6 and then exchange that money received (+ the difference in price) for a Canadian 6+.

I tried to do this for the 5S, when you purchased the phone in Asia, it will be a different model number than what is sold here in North America. That is what I learned from the 5S experience, I believe it is going to be the same with the 6 and 6+.
