Hello friends.

I really like listening to podcasts through iTunes which, as you know, has some neat playlist features. They now however seem to be broken or changed since iTunes 11.

Cut things short, I subscribe to a bunch of podcasts in iTunes, create a 'smart' playlist, and then set the rules to 'media kind - podcasts' and 'plays - less than 1'.

Now for years this has meant that when I have listened to a podcast on this playlist on the iPhone, it would then be removed from the list so it wouldn't play again. I could also see whether I had listened to all podcasts (since the list would be empty).

It still seems to behave this way in iTunes on the mac, but on the iPhone all podcasts remains on the list as if they were unplayed even though they are most definitely played. Now for my purposes this renders the whole phone useless as a podcasting device.

To be safe I added a 'plays is 0' rule but still nothing.

This problem started occurring as I migrated from Windows to OS X, so I'm not sure if its iTunes 11 or OS X.

Anyone got any ideas? Thanks.
