"Unrecognizable Video" won't import

I have a bizarre issue. I took a video on my iPhone 4 at a show this past summer. When I went to retrieve it, it was not there. I was ticked but got over it. It just wasn't there, didn't show up on the phone or in iPhoto. I have synched my phone countless times since. Today, the video just shows up in my phone and in iPhoto (I upgraded to the latest version recently, don't know if that has anything to do with it). When I try to import it in iPhoto, it get this unrecognized format error. It plays fine in my iPhone. I went to image capture app and it seems to have imported it but it will not play in quicktime or vlc. Everything is up to date and I have uploaded screenshots of the errors when I try to import and when I try to play the file that image capture imported.
